TOM is an accomplished figurative artist who has been painting for over 30 years. His mostly large-scale oil paintings range from contemporary urban scenes to commissioned portraits to serious paintings reminiscent of the Renaissance. Living and painting in Italy for over 20 years, he is widely considered a master in the style of the great Venetians. His technique and superb skill painting light and shadow often on denim or linen results in dramatic work with a great deal of depth and substance.
